Our Story

Our mission is to enrich the lives of members of the community through the sport of tennis. Through coaching, motivation, and education, adults and juniors will learn to play tennis and also become healthier, more physically fit and mentally strong. Slammer Tennis World was founded by Marvin Tyler in April 2003 to motivate and educate people through the game of tennis. Slammer Tennis World offers a variety of affordable indoor and outdoor tennis programs for kids and Adults! Slammer Tennis World operates after-school junior tennis programs throughout Fairfield County, CT (Norwalk, Stamford, and New Canaan, CT) and most recently in Land O Lakes during the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Slammer Tennis World operates summer camps for kids in Norwalk, Stamford and New Canaan, CT. We host Tennis Jamborees which are a fun and exciting way to introduce kids to the game of tennis. Last, but not least, we offer private, semi-private and group tennis lessons for adults and juniors. Slammer Tennis World has been developed on personality, teamwork, knowledge, work ethic, dedication and determination. We want to show both juniors and adults that tennis is a fun, healthy, life-long sport.

Slammer Tennis World is also an active organization member of the United States Tennis Association (U.S.T.A) and a registered organization provider with USTA Net Generation.
